Age Limit: Candidates age should be 18 – 33 years for UR, 18 – 36 years for OBC and 18 – 38 years for SC/ ST as on 01-01-2014. Age relexations are applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Minimum 10 Pass or ITI or equivalent and also higher Educational Qualification.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written Examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination.
Examination Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- (SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Women, Minority communities and Economically Backward Classes re exempted from payment of Examination Fees.
Mode of Payment:
For Online:For the candidates applying online -After registering the application online, the candidate (other than those specifically exempted), can take print out of challan and remit the examination fee either in any branch of State Bank of India or SBBJ or any of the Post Offices.
For Offline: For the Candidates applying Offline (Manually) should be paid in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order form any Post Office drawn infavour of “Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment) RailwayRecruitment Cell, NWR Jaipur.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply through online/ Offline from the web site http://www.iroams.com/ or www.nwr.indianrailways.gov.in from 14-12-2013 to 13-01-2014 or send the application form by downloading them from the web site filling it on an A4 size plain paper, enclose copy of certificate attested by a Gazetted Officer, Demand Draft on or before 13-01-2014 and for far flung areas on or before 28-01-2014.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Keep ready your certificates, your valid e-mail address and your mobile phone.
2. Log on to www.iroams.com or www.nwr.indianrailways.gov.in and follow the instructions.
3. Fill in the columns, indicating the details pertaining to you. Submit the application confirm the details.
4. Enter the DTP (One Time Password) which you will get as e-mail in your e – mail address.
5. Take a printout of the pre-printed challan (in which all details of the applicant are available
6. Candidate need not fill any details) of either State Bank of India, S.B.B.J orPost Office and pay the fee (This is not required for categories exempted from paying fees).
7. You can take printout of the acknowledgment and keep as record for having submitted your application.

INSTRUCTIONS TO FILL ONLINE


Stage1-Registration
  • Candidate should fill the personal information
  • It is mandatory to provide valid email id
  • Candidate Name, Date of Birth and email id  cannot be changed. Hence provide correct information
  • Immediately on filling up of the information, a password will be sent to your mail id
  • Now proceed to step 2 with the received password
Stage 2 – Confirmation of password
  • Login to Step 2 with the email id and password
  • Now proceed to online application form
Stage 3- Filling up of online application form
  • Kindly refer the Information Brochure carefully, before filling the application form.
  • Fields Marked with an asterisk * are mandatory.
  • Provide all the relevant details carefully.
  • Candidates Date of birth should be on or after 01.07.1992.
  • Change of Test City will not be entertained.
Stage 4-Selection of Mode of payment
  • Select the appropriate mode of payment as DD mode or Netbanking / Debit card / Credit card Mode
  • Immediately on submission of the application form at this stage, an application number will be generated
  • Candidates are requested to note down the application number
  • All the future correspondence will be made on the application number only 

    I. Steps to be followed, if application fee is paid through Demand Draft 
    • Get ready with a computerized Demand draft for  925/- drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the 'VIT University', payable at Vellore
    • Write your Application Number, Name, Address and Mobile Number on the back side of the Demand Draft.
    • Fill the details of Demand Draft (like DD number, DD Date, Bank Name etc,.) on the system.
    • Send the printout of filled-out application form after affixing the photo and signature along with the DD (computerized DD). 

      For candidates not having the Demand draft in hand:
      • After taking the Demand draft login to the system directly, from step 2
      • Fill the details of Demand Draft (like DD number, DD Date, Bank Name etc,.)  
      • Send the printout of filled-out application form after affixing the photo and signature along with the DD (computerized DD). [Format of address on envelope to be affixed on cover is available in the printout page]
      II. Steps to be followed, if application fee is paid through Online payment gateway
        i.e., Net Banking / Credit card / Debit card Facility:
      • Select the mode of payment as referred
      • After submitting the payment information, candidate should wait for the intimation from the server, DO NOT press back or Refresh button in order to avoid double charge.
      • On successful completion of transaction, acknowledgement receipt with the transaction number will be generated and you can take the printout of the acknowledgement receipt along with the application form.
      For Transaction not successful due to network issues / display of error page :
      • For Transaction found not successful, even after the amount deducted from your account, please wait for 3 working days. On 4th working day, proceed to step 2 to know your transaction status. If again transaction is found incomplete, send a mail to ugadmission@vit.ac.in
    Stage 5. - Download the application form in the pdf format.
    • Download the application form, affix the appropriate photograph and give the signature
    • Send the Application form through Speed Post addressed to The Director - UG Admissions, VIT University, Vellore- 632 014, Tamil Nadu, India [Format of address on envelope to be affixed on cover is available in the printout page]

Eligibility Criteria 

Graduates in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses can apply for CMAT. 

NOTE: The eligibility criteria for admission to Management programs (Diploma and Post 
Graduation) is as mentioned below 

1 Management (PGDM, 
MBA and similar) 
Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration Obtained at least 50% 
(45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying 
Examination 
2 Management (PGCM) Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration 
3 Management (Executive 
PGDM) 
Any recognized Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration and a minimum of 
5 years relevant managerial / supervisory experience.
